March through October

Mosquito control

Our long, humid summers are perfect for mosquitoes. Seasonal yard treatments knock down the population so you can enjoy your porch, patio and backyard.

Why mosquitoes are so bad here

Mosquitoes breed in standing water, and it doesn't take much. A clogged gutter, a bucket, a tarp or a plant saucer can produce hundreds of mosquitoes. The Asian tiger mosquito, common in Tennessee, bites during the day and breeds in small containers around homes. Season runs from about March into October.

How our mosquito treatment works

We inspect your yard for breeding sites and the shady, sheltered spots where adult mosquitoes rest, like shrubs, under decks and along fence lines. We treat those resting areas and address breeding sites, then return on a regular schedule through the season to keep numbers down.

Cut down mosquitoes around your home

  • Dump standing water at least once a week
  • Clean gutters so they drain completely
  • Change birdbath and pet water often
  • Store buckets, toys and wheelbarrows upside down
  • Keep grass and shrubs trimmed
