I started Preferred Pest Control to give homeowners and businesses another option.
A lot of people don't enjoy working with the big national companies, or with local companies where the technician seems to change every few visits. I wanted to offer something different: you know exactly who is serving you, you get clear communication about scheduling, and you get results you can see.

In this industry, learning never ends. Pests, products and best practices keep changing, so I stay current through continuing education, including programs through the University of Tennessee and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.

I've been married to my wife for 11 years, and we have two sons and one daughter. I treat every home I service the way I'd want someone to treat mine.
Part of the community
We love getting involved in the community. In September 2026, we had a booth at the BNI & Boys & Girls Clubs Trades Expo & Job Fair at the Highland Park Boys & Girls Club in Chattanooga, showing local kids and families the bugs we deal with every day and what a career in the trades can look like.
Being part of the towns we serve matters to us. And yes, the kids usually come along to help.

Free pest inspections
Every service starts with an inspection. We show you what we found and explain the plan before any treatment.
