Pests we handle
- Ants, including odorous house ants and carpenter ants
- German and American cockroaches
- Spiders, including brown recluse and black widow (and spiders on boat docks)
- Silverfish, earwigs and centipedes
- Crickets and other occasional invaders
- Wasps, hornets and yellowjacket nests near the home
How our pest control service works
We start with an inspection of the inside and outside of your home. We look at entry points, moisture, and the spots pests like to hide. Then we treat where pests live and travel, not just where you happened to see one. Exterior treatments around the foundation, eaves, doors and windows create a barrier, and interior treatments target active areas like kitchens, bathrooms and garages.
Why prevention matters here
Southeast Tennessee's humid summers and mild winters keep pests active for most of the year. Regular service keeps your home protected season after season.
Things you can do between visits
- Store food, including pet food, in sealed containers
- Fix leaky faucets and keep crawlspaces dry
- Trim shrubs and tree limbs back from the house
- Keep mulch a few inches away from the foundation
Questions about general pest control
Will I need to leave the house during treatment?
Usually not. We'll tell you which areas we're treating and how long to keep people and pets away from them.
